Hi all,
I have a tire question for you.
I recently purchased a 2000 Cherokee Classic 4D 4x4. All stock. My first jeep & first 4x4. So I'm not sure if I need to think differently about tires.
Since 1984 my last 2 vehicles were '84 & '94 4x2 S-10 Blazers. Both had Uniroyal Tiger Paws. They were great tires; rode very smoothly & had great handling. I liked them so much that I haven't used anything else since 1984.
The Jeep came with Goodyear Wranglers, which ride a bit rough on pavement. Here's my question: can I use something like the Tiger Paws on the jeep? Or do I have to use "SUV" tires? Most of my driving will be on pavement, with only occasional dirt &/or fire roads .
Also, any specific tire you would recommend in the winter for snow? On all 4 wheels or just the rear 2? I don't mind having 2 sets of tires. I did it with the Blazers.
Thanks!
