yet another XJ question

After searching crutchfield for speaker sizes...they have 3 sizes for the XJ. Just so i don't have to remove the panels twice...

front speakers are what? 5 1/4?
rear are?

Crutchfield says 4", 5 1/4" and 6 1/4". So I mean what ones? I know the fronts are in the door and the rears are way in the back up top.

on my XJ (97), all 4 speakers are 5 1/4. i don't know about newer models though... your rears should definitely be 5 1/4, but your fronts may have changed. its not that hard to pop the door panel off to check though. also... some XJ's (mainly the limiteds i think) came with a fancier infinity sound system that included separate tweeters up front... so maybe just check and make sure you don't have a different setup than what comes standard.

i would bet you have four 5 1/4" speakers then... double check your front doors before you make a purchase though.
