YJ7 Conversion

I'm bored, so I'm thinking of putting a CJ7 front end on my YJ. Have any of you done it? What's different about the mounting holes (if anything)? Will there be any problems mounting the radiator? Also, are the wheel well openings (sheetmetal cutouts) the same on a YJ as on a CJ? I'd want to put stock CJ fender flares on too. If you guys have any good information from doing this yourselves or to someone else's rig I'd appreciate the input. www.drewfuss.alloffroad.com[addsig]

i've seen it done so im positive that its possible, but the only time i've seen it was with a complete CJ body tub and front end, i've never seen it with just the front end and yj tub, doesnt mean it cant be done though[addsig]

I believe it's possible to mount the CJ front end to the YJ tub because at one point I rememer seeing it on somebody's rig at rockcrawler.com The only thing is how much was done to make it work? I can't seem to find the guys rig anymore, so I was hoping I'd run into somebody here that's done it.[addsig]

the problem you're going to run into is that the width of the CJ-7 body is a few inches narrower then the YJ so where you're goin to run into trouble is aligning the body and front end without your body tub hanging out to far, this is why i really think the only way you'd be able to do it is by switching the whole body tub, if it was easy it would be common, and im having trouble finding any online that have done it, i did however run in to a CJ-7 with a YJ body tub, a CJ owner who likes square headlights???
