Installing an inline heater hose cutoff valve

Food for thought. Your heater is part of the engine cooling that bypasses the thermostat. Close that off and you do not have flow. Consider a 3 way valve that diverts the flow to loop by the heater core. Also verify your blend doors are working. This is what channels air through the core or...

Aux radiator fan cutting off when A/C is on

Low AC pressure can lead to the AC compressor cycling. Given how old the vehicle is id get it leak checked. At least be sure to have it pumped and refilled. Never look down on anyone unless you are helping them up - Jesse Jackson

I couldn’t figure out what that was a pic of. Glad you explained it. The oil leak-may be top end like a valve gasket and trickles down only after running the engine. Never look down on anyone unless you are helping them up - Jesse Jackson

Aux radiator fan cutting off when A/C is on

Fill and burp your radiator and be sure there is some fluid in the expansion tank.? Then reassess. Engine should run app 210 That it is 15 deg higher than the 195 thermostat. There are two temp sending sensors. One on the back of the engine that drives the gauges. Then one on the thermo housing...
