17s or 18s?

17s or 18s on my 2018 JK Rubi (2 dr). Will be putting on a 2.5 inch lift. Primarily a daily driver with mild to moderate off road. Ordered 18s but seeing lots of recommendations to go with the 17s.

Personally I’d price them out. What is available in 17 vs 18. 18 will have better highway responsiveness.

My thoughts: every bead stretches some amount. Lets say few % by material. The larger the rim the more it can stretch. So when aired down it may be easier to pop a bead.
