1997 jeep tj soft top frame

How can I tell if I have the oem soft top frame or an after market? The reason being is that I have been shopping for a soft top and realized that I have the frame in my garage but don't remeber if its the oem or after market I have a 1997 jeep tj se

I can't mount the top cuz its missing the bottom ends the bolt to the latches.. any idea where I can get those for cheap. Im almost positive its the factory frame cuz I was on best tops website and they had a picture with the replace a top soft top and they r identical

Some top part are hard to come by without purchasing a new top or frame or both. Try www.4wd.com . They should be able to help guide you in the right direction.

If you can get the small parts, great, or try eBay and junkyards. A junkyard probably won't part with just pieces of the frame unless the rest of it is banged up. Bestop's Supertop comes with a new frame but then it costs more than the Replace-a-top and the skin only works with the Supertop frame, so you have to keep that in mind when it's replacement time. There are also a couple of tops out there that use the rollbar as a frame. I don't care for the looks of it myself but that's a matter of personal preference.

Ya I was shopping around but the complete soft top kits are upwards of 600 or more. I don't fine the fast back look but for the price ill just use my frame. Replaces the pieces that needs replacing and just buy a replace a top for about 350
