CJ5s from "55-"71 had the heater that mounted on the drivers side of the firewall. After that they were all mounted on the passenger side of the firewall with a few different versions of duct thru the years. The "55-"71 would probably take less fab work to fit your "62 & if you have any heater parts still in the Jeep they would match up.
