Drop pitman

I am installing a 2 and a half inch lift kit, with 1/2 inch lift boomerang shackles on a 90 yj, is a drop pitman arm necessary?

Not mandatory, but I would strongly advice if you want to keep bumpsteer at bay...

Shouldn't need it. Run it like it is, just make sure to use the front trackbar bracket included in the kit or ditch the front trackbar all together.

Should you find you want a drop pitman arm, grab a stock one off an XJ.

Sorry, just saw he has a YJ... I run mine without the dropped pitman arm (bought one, then took it off).
