tj,s dont use ujoints in the driveshafts? what do they use then?

He's wanting to upgrade the front driveshaft in his Grand Cherokee from a CV joint to a double-cardan joint.

You'll likely need a shaft custom made unless you're lucky enough to find a Grand Cherokee with the correct length double-cardan front driveshaft. You will also need the transfer case front output yoke from a ZJ, XJ, MJ, or TJ.
