I was not really rooting for one team or the other, but that was a great game! That collision in the outfield is the worst I have ever seen in baseball.....pure brutal head to head contact.

I hate to be the one to say it, but the Sox are in for a rude awakening when they face the Yankees. The curse lives.

OK...let's just look at the facts.....
During the eight years that the Babe played with the Sox they won four world series......the Yankees had never won a world series
During the 88 years that have followed the Sox trading Ruth to the Yankees the Sox have not won another world series while the Yanks have chalked up 26 world series victories.
"The curse" may only be a myth....it may only play in the minds of players and fans, but the fact is they have been in a pretty good world series slump since they traded the Babe.....
Is this the year to break "the curse"?
That will be decided.
Man Ram did appear to break his streak of dissapointing post season offensive play last night. And just for the record, I have no problem with the way he handled his home run. In my opinion, if you can go yard with it then walk all the way around the bases if you wish......you earned it. I think that Manny was just excited about finding that pitch when he had not been hit like he wants to.
I have my reasons for supporting the Yankees even though I am from Texas, but either way I think it will be a good series. NY has had a little more rest before the series, but Boston is coming off a great come-from-behind series......let the games begin!

All I have to say is 1918...1918...1918. I try to talk too much smack about redsox fans though. Its like beating a dead horse. Kinda like picking on a little brother....its fun for a little while but then you just feel like you should have known better. GO YANKS!!!!

But, if I've gotta pick, I hope that bean town kills the curse and kills the Yanks. Especially if all west coast teams are out.
I forget it's even on during Football season, America's TRUE past time.
NFL, NBA, NHL, now that's worth watching.
