Manual Oil Guage in YJ Cluster?

has anyone tried or succeeded in installing a manual oil guage in the YJ dash? I would like to change mine out in a '93 YJ.. I trust the manual guage much more than a sending unit model guage.. but, if its a major pain, will just add the guage under the cluster or somewhere else.. thanks..

I too find mechanical gauges more reliable. on my CJ I used a 2" hole saw through the sheet metal dash and installed the 2" Auto Meter Oil Pressure gauge

well, I sold the YJ and have a '84 CJ7 now, so its much easier to work on everything in it... I can put mechanical guages right in no problem.. no more weird crap..
