Get that taken care of ASAP! My shock mount broke. My shock rested on the muffler. The heat from the muffler transferred onto my shock, onto the bottom side of my cargo compartment. The heat started to burn the carpet. That was the least of my worries. All the heat also burned a vacuum hose near the gas tank. It became an expensive repair job.
So, from my experience and wallet, get it checked out
