Rolling code on '96 Grand Cherokee Homelink

My new (for me, at least) 1996 Grand Cherokee Limited is equipped with the homelink option. The problem is my garage door has something called a "rolling code". My friend's 2001 Audi S4 has a section on rolling codes for homelink, but we couldn't get it to work for the Jeep. Has anyone dealt with a rolling code before?

Hi,

Yes, most new garage door openers use rolling codes to auotmatically generate a new code after each (or several) uses of the door opener for greater security.

I have no clue if the newer Cherokees have rolling code transmitters or not, so can't be of much help there.
