Well buddy, it all depends. Do you want to go nice, or really nice. Really nice (Along with a big price) get into some 9100 Series Bilstein shocks with adjustible ride pressures. If you just want to go alright and pretty cheap I would go with the Pro Comp 3000 shocks. Im running them and they are great for me. Still rides a little rough but hey, Its a Jeep. :-D :-D :-D [addsig]

As for length I dont have much of an answer. Get your shackles installed and then take a measurment from the top shock mount to the bottom mount. Call your local 4wd shop and tell them that measurment and they will tell you exactly what length shock to run... Good luck.

P.S. I always go to 4Wheel Parts. I think that there is one in every state also. [addsig]

ES3000's are a very rough riding gas-charged shock. For a decent non-kidney busting ride, get a hydraulic shock like Doetsch-Tech 3000's or Rusty's hydros.

If you plan on another larger lift down the road, don't invest a lot in shocks. Get the $15 hydros from the parts stores. Measure your compresses and extended lengths after the lift and they'll get what you need, for a lot less $$ :-D

Tell me, is this lift providing 2" of lift? If so, the shackles would be 4" longer than stock :-O Get ready for the shackles to hit EVERYTHING, and for the jeep to wander onroad due to positive caster in the front axle. Possibly rear driveshaft vibes also, due to the rear pinion no longer being parallel with the transfer case output.[addsig]

Did you have the shackles made? I havent seen shackles at that length. Like Bounty said... If they are 2" long shackles then you will only really get 1" lift. This is because they are only at one end of the spring. Good point on the shock though. Go cheap not if you are planning on more lift in the future.[addsig]
