Shopping for Commander tires

Just thought I would add my two cents. I had an '89 Jeep Cherokee 4x4; bought new and sold to my oldest son in 2005. Although it came new with 205s, I got 235s on it as soon as possible (I called my dealership first to see what the largest I could put on without voiding warranty). The only problem I had initially was when turning; I had to readjust the steering stop slightly to keep the right side from rubbing on sharp RH turns. The problem I am currently running into is finding the max tire for my 2006 Jeep Commander 4x4. Stock tires are 245/65Rx17. Want to put Cepek FCIIs on it, but they smallest they offer in 17 is 265 (same size as the ones on my 99 GMC K1500 Suburban, but with 16" wheels). Mainly I am looking to put on a narrower tire, but not sure if it could handle 255s or it I'll have to stick with 245s. Googled for a max tire chart, but have come up empty so far. So if anybody can steer me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
