Transmission swap

I have an '89 Wrangler YJ 4.2 six cylinder with a peugeot BA 10 and I would like to put in a AX 5 transmission out of a '90 Wrangler with a 4 cylinder. Can anyone tell me what is needed to do this transmission swap?

Personally I don't think the AX5 will be up to the task behind a six banger.

You really should look for an AX15.

AX5 will not bolt up, that transmission is specific to the 4banger. Get an AX15, preferably '95 or newer with the external clutch slave.
