What did you do to your Jeep today?

Cleaned the inside of the windshield, the dash, steering wheel, shift noobs. My advice, "DO NOT LEAVE AND UN-OPEND CAN OF POP IN YOU JEEP IF THE TEMPS GET TO -20 AT NIGHT"!!!!

Decided to clean the compressor unit mounting brackets for the original AC unit I purchased about a month ago for the rig. Getting ready to start that project in hopes it brings warmer weather!

I had the same issue and it was the gasket under the windshiel frame. Once I replaced it, no more problems

Went out playing in the snow, we got about 6.5"
That truck in front of me wrecked about a mile up the road

Had to take my wife back to work to tend to a dog

I always think I'm a better snow driver than I really am - usually some low speed ice braking brings me back to reality.

I haven't had any accidents, but there were a few almosts with the last round of snow.

Lol yea I've never wrecked and I'm sure I drive faster than I should. I'm not even sure how they spun out we we going about 35, I looked up and he was sliding off the road lol

I put a new ignition key mechanism in since I lost my keys. Figured that was the easiest way to solve the problem and would get me back into working on my jeep again. I'm excited to back in it. :)

I made a new front bumper using my old warn bumper, a harbor freight winch mount, a stinger I bought off of eBay for $11.. I cut it and widened it 10". And some lifting hooks. After about 6 hours of plasma cutting, welding and grinding this is what I ended up with.

I started on a winch mounting plate. Going to use the old flunky bumper for now. Next time it gets bent will consider replacing it.

P1080828.JPGToday I mounted the plate and winch. Need longer bolts to mount the tow hooks. At my pace this project should be done by the end of next month.

Halfway done with the lift, probably finish it up next weekend. <img src="http://www.jeepz.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=20501"/> <img src="http://www.jeepz.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=20502"/> <img src="http://www.jeepz.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=20503"/>

Longer swaybar connectors?? So it functions properly.
Adjustable track bar?? To keep track bar parallel to steering and minimizing possibility of DW.

I bought the entire rubicon express 5.5" long arm kit complete. Also a lock right for the front axle because it's un noticeable in 2wd on the street. Plan on a ford 8.8 next year. Kit has everything you mentioned and more , very nice kit, my jeep also has a 3" body lift that was on it when I bought it but I will be taking it out as soon as I'm done with the re lift.
