I finally got around to installing my new pinions and ring gears. I'm now running 4:56 gear ratios with a detroit locker in the rear.
Thank you for your birthday wishes....and I took your advise, a pinch of salt, a drop or two of lime (dont like lemon) followed by several glasses of This-will-kill-ya (tequila). Tipped one your way as well.
hey man, you military? i see all the places you have listed as been lately and they look like military areas. i know columbus is fort benning, i was there for three years in the 90s, ha ha ha.
I have a 2002 Wrangler TJ soft top, black on black. The seats were all custom covered with camel colored leather, then subsequently covered with Smittybilt Neoprene seat covers because leather is to hot in Florida! It has a 6 inch long arm suspension lift, a 3 inch body lift, and 37 inch Toyo Mts. It's my 5th Jeep, and I've never had anything bigger than 35'' tires on any of them. Now of course, I realize my stock (as far as I know, I bought it used) axles are dana 30 and 35, and aren't built to handle the 37''s. So now I must upgrade my axles, and am hoping to find a used set of dana 44's somewhere. It's either that or put smaller tires on, and there is no way that's happening. Well, I just wanted to say hi and hope I make some Jeep friends. I'm from the midwest, and everyone who drives a wrangler waves to each other. Down here in Florida, the only wavers are driving lifted older jeeps, CJs, TJs, etc. Come on JK people, get on the ball!

Im not the averge guy. Tell you the truth. Im only 15 years old who loves jeep.
I have 2004 Jeep GC that the rear passenger side window just quit. Can't roll down from driver's or rear passenger's door controls. I previously had the problem where all windows and door locks didn't work and the dome light came on. I was able to fix that numerous times since the wiring between the driver's door and hinge would break and I would have to rewire. Nice design there Jeep. Anyway, I checked the wiring between the driver's door and the rear passenger door and everything seems alright. The driver control seems to be making a clicking sound, so I believe it has power. The rear door does nothing at all. Could it be a the motor to the regulator in the rear passenger door??? How can I test if the the door is getting power???
